Rhododendron Valley

Every summer it is my mission to find the beautiful rhododendrons in the Dutch forests. They often blossom in the same places, but it their timing always slightly different. Sometimes they are better in certain forests than others. It really depends on the year and on the weather. This photo was taken quite close to my house. I always check this spot and this year, in 2025, they were particularly beautiful. With the sun already a bit up and the high humidity, beautiful light rays came down giving the scene a little bit more magic.
